Welcome to Langley Blades Short Track Speed Skating Club web site. The club is based in Langley, British Columbia and its members range from 3 to 83 yrs of age! Speed skating is a sport for everyone, anytime. Our ice time is at the Sportsplex 20165 91A Avenue in Langley on Wednesdays and some Friday afternoon. We are open to new skaters throughout the season, no previous skating experience is necessary. Our coaches with Olympic background have years of experience, and they will teach you with compassion and enthusiasm how to achieve your goals. Contact us for more information. The Club was founded in 1987 with a donation and assistance from the Matsqui Blades Speed Skating Club. Member of the Langley Blades also belong to the British Columbia Speed Skating Association (BCSSA) and Speed Skate Canada (SSC). The skaters in our club range in ages and abilities, so the practices are arrange to accommodate their progressing skill levels.
